By phone or messaging, we work with you to determine your interests and see what we can come up with to fit your schedule and ours. Flexible promo pricing (sliding scale) around $180 for two adults for four hours. The following offerings would be guided by either Bonnie or Andrew unless otherwise specified, and are all activities with which we are skilled and experienced. We are keen to get this side of the business rolling so if you are interested let us know what would make it work for you..
Canoe and/or kayak tours of the local area. Get acquainted with the bays and islands of the Gatineau River. Paddle with one of us or level up with our expert colleague Ed. We can provide most of the gear.
Book a ride on our pontoon boat and see the sights from a floating couch! This option can be booked for $90/hour, (or up to $180+gas for the full four hours)..
Rent a canoe, or a small fishing boat with a gas motor. Inquire for details. Our pontoon boat is not for rent alas..
We can explore local trails, or bushwhack through the forest with map and compass to a captivating feature of the landscape..
Learn some of the techniques we practice; visit the emerging Retreat Center at Oddiyana Island; immerse in the experience of being guided by one of us (experienced amateurs) or inquire about booking an intro session with our professional colleague (see below)..
Coordinate a private session with LilBear (certified Yogini, RMT, and more..)
Follow our lead into the icy waters and experience the current trend. Warm up next to a fire, in hot bath, or in our floating sauna when available..
Come discover our local caves! Three rooms, the biggest you can stand in. Bring a headlight..
Come tour our apartment in Wakefield, QC. Check out our decade old vermiculture composters, our sprouting facilities, and our microgreen barrels..
Have a home cooked vegetarian feast as a cap to your adventure.. Meal plans during certain retreats can also be discussed..
After a lifetime of pushing certain physical limits as best he could, Andrew is keen to offer his services as a guide for those looking for a more vigorous outing. The following offerings are all sports with which I am relatively skilled and experienced. The pace is something that we decide together once we start planning and actually moving. Going gently can be fun and easy for a wide range of people. Going hard is also on the menu. If you can outperform me your trek is free! Bring it..
Plan a route through any of the trails in Chelsea, Wakefield or Mont Ste Maire and let us show you the local mecca! Cross-Country and All-Mountain styles available. Pure DH is not my department..
Go farther and take on a more serious trek. We can plan a mix of trails and forest, and find a pace that suits you. Running on roads is not really in my repertoire. Multi day camping trips are also possible..
Check out our local hills and vales..
Andrew can show you around the slopes at any of our local lift access ski hills, or take you into the woods to search for powder where few dare venture. If the season is good and the snow is deep, a lot of terrain begins to open up in the forests. I know some amazing tree skiing zones with lift access at Mont Ste Marie and Vorlage. If you are so inclined, we can also hike into certain areas on foot (or with skins if you have the gear)..
Challenge yourself to a longer distance swim with our support, or practice flying from one of several tried and true rock faces! We would certainly never even consider jumping from the Wakefield covered bridge because the law now frowns discouragingly upon such antics...
Make like you’re twelve again and pick up the lost art of tree climbing. Come try my faves or find your own. There are so many to choose from in our local woods. Alternately, we might be able to book our gear savvy pro Jamie to top rope the biggest conifers for climbing with harness and belayer..
